For those of you that feel the Demo version of this modification was just not enough, prepare yourselves for some intense gaming! Loser Kid is back once again, and just like his previous release...nothing in life is free, therefore, you will have to give up some of your bandwidth to pay the modest price for this download, which is great news in this economically challenged climate that we live in...the download itself, as always, is free!
In the Loser's Super Powers Mod (v2), each difficulty setting gets harder as the players abilities increase. This has been done in part because the developer thinks this mod takes some getting used to. T offset the bonuses that you get from this mod, the number of AI that you will be up against, as well as their difficulty level has been increased.
For your convenience, Loser Kid has also provided a video so you have an idea of what kind of action awaits you!
It's not easy to run around at speeds much faster than normal while getting huge air and cloaking rapidly, at least not at first. Loser Kid recommends trying the easier settings first so you can get used to the changes before trying the hardest difficulty setting, which is the main focus of this mod. Most maps come with vehicles not normally usable in the game but that doesn't mean you have to use them (many vehicles are hard to find). Don't deny yourself the fun of playing on foot as well.
The different difficulties mean:
You can run faster
Experience less recoil
And regain energy faster
Loser's Super Powers Mod (v2) is just that...a mod which, compared to your abilities found in the stock version, gives you what could be considered super powers; Essentially, this download allows the player to do things not possible in the retail version of the Crysis game by increasing the available energy for the Nano suit. This Mod is perfect for those of you that want to throw a bit of a twist in your gaming experience, and enjoy Crysis in a whole new way!
Readme File: In the beginning, this mod was little more than a few script adjustments that gave the player more strength and speed. Now, in its final stage, the entire campaign has been remade. In this mod you will experience the full power of the nano suit. Enemies are highly skilled and vastly numerous.
The AI difficulty is set to a far higher level than what was available in even the most difficult setting for the normal version of Crysis, yet the player is equipped with the strength speed and stamina required to take on armies of soldier and alien foes alike. There are many vehicles, weapons, and enemies available in this mod that are not present otherwise. Many maps have been severely altered while other have been made more difficult. This is Crysis as it was meant to be. This mod requires more processing power than the original game due to the much greater number of enemies being rendered. If your computer can play the normal version of Crysis pretty well then this mod should work fine, but if you are already experiencing significant performance issues than this mod is not for you.
1. Open your crysis directory.
2. Copy folder "game" in the "loser's super powers mod" folder
to your crysis directory.
Start a new game.
This mod allows the player to do things not possible
in the normal crysis games by increasing the avaliable
energy for the nano suit. Its really fun. Enjoy.

Why is this mod so enormous? I mean, from the sounds of it, it is nothing more than script changes, which really shouldn't amount to anything more than a few dozen MB's worth of data; based on the readme, there are no new models or textures, but it does sound as though some of the maps *may* have been altered.
But still, 1.4 GB of data? Perhaps if this thing was divided into individual files, because I can't imagine anyone having a stable connection long enough to download an entire games worth of data.
This mod isnt perfect. I am a one man team here. I did spend hours finding the right balance between the increase in AI difficulty and the increase in suit power. The AI is not always programed to walk around and do something flashy while they wait for your attack but they will shoot you if they see you or hear you. This mod is just fun. You get way more power and more enmies to use it againts.
And thanks kingraptor. U totally get this mod. Ur supposed to just play it and have fun with the crazy extra abilities, not expect the enemies to be doing realilistic things in their idle time all the time.
I'm not offended. I'm just saying there is more value in this mod if you dont care so much about the small details that make the AI look busy. Sometimes you will see the Ai kinda just standing there but they will still shoot you if they see or hear you.
Will there be anymore improvements or add-ons made for this mod?
